Short Film: Dear Valentine

 

It’s Saturday morning and I’m just surfing the net (Do we still call it that? what do the young kids call it when they go online?) and I came across this short film called Dear Valentine by film maker Fiona Worlanyo Aku Ansah that came out at the beginning of the year (Feb 2016)

The premise behind it is a dinner date between Mina and Lartey that goes bad when Mina needs to use the bathroom. 

Dear Valentine discusses the issue of the lack  of easy access to toilet facilities in the country in a cute and funny way.

I enjoyed watching this. I do feel Mina’s reaction at the end was a bit harsh but i still enjoyed watching. Hope you do too. Let me know what you think.
